Who the hell are objecting Kushboo!
“Chastity symbolizes slavery of women and makes her anybody’s chattel,” is said by Periyar! But these grand sons & Tamil Media personalities are acting funny on Actress Kushboo's remarks and it is shame that many so called Tamil Lovers from the Periyar Tamil Movements are up in the arms. Even Bharathi doesnt like the partiality and said " Chastity should be for both men and women !". If that is the arguement then half of the males are proclaimed unchasty rascals! Soon what Kushboo said will be a reality and what they are going to do is to be seen. May be now they protest... then discuss... then they may accept the reality. This is my bold view. Let us wait and see.

Dear Chella,
Chastity is nothing but a promise made by a man and woman in front of God to be true to each other. If someone is progressive enough to disown the concept of God, chastity has no meaning in that person's life.
I am not sure if you are that kind of a progressive man. Like many others this is your personal view and you, like Kushboo is entitled to have one in a democratic nation. But if such views are found disruptive to proper functioning of a society, on ethical grounds a protest is considered equally democratic. Burning effigies and lodging court cases are ways of expressing civil disobedience on a controversial issue.
You claimed whatever Kushboo said will come true one day. I beg to differ with you. It is already becoming true and that is what people like Thirumavalavan, Ramadoss and Thangar Bacchan are concerned about. It is normal for sane people to be concerned about social issues.

Noted your arguements! Premarital sex is social subject to be discussed but instead of discussing the topic single out Kushboo and showing "Vilakkumaru" in public is not fit for Ramdas and Valavans. They are acting like cultural goondas! Blocking cinemas, removing banners etc are not going to apeal to people like me. For me freedom is the highest priority and many time this wont allow all out good for the society... it is bit organic. Good and evil will settle score slowly! Wait and see!
